Free tool
TikTok Story Viewer
Watch and download anyone's TikTok stories without them knowing. Enter a username and see what is live. No login, no app, and you never appear in their viewer list.
Public accounts only. No login, and the account never sees you in its viewer list.
How to watch TikTok stories anonymously
Type the account’s username in the box, with or without the @, or paste a link to their profile. Press View stories. Anything they have posted in the last 24 hours appears here as a video you can play or save.
On TikTok itself, opening a story while logged in puts your account in the creator’s list of viewers. Here you are not logged in to TikTok at all, so there is no account for that list to show.
Why most accounts show no stories
This surprises people, so it is worth saying up front. TikTok stories expire after 24 hours, and many creators post them rarely or never. On a typical day, most of the biggest accounts on the platform have nothing up at all. An empty result usually means exactly that: there is no story right now. Check again later, or look up someone who posts them regularly.
What this cannot do
It cannot show stories from private accounts. Those are restricted to approved followers by TikTok, and there is no legitimate way around that. Sites that promise private stories are after your login or your details, so treat them accordingly. It also cannot recover a story after its 24 hours are up, because TikTok no longer publishes it.
Saving a story
Each story has a Download MP4 button. The file is served by TikTok directly to your device and never passes through us, so nothing is stored on our side. If your browser opens the video in a new tab instead of saving it, right-click and choose Save video as, or on a phone press and hold and choose Download.
Keep it to personal use. Reposting someone else’s story as your own is a different matter from watching it.
Other TikTok tools
For regular videos, the TikTok video downloader saves any public post without the watermark, and TikTok to MP4 does the same with a focus on the file format. To check an account’s numbers, use the TikTok follower counter. Growing your own account? Try free TikTok views on your next post.
