Facebook Post Generator
Build a Facebook-style post mockup with your name, picture, text, image and counts, in light or dark mode, and download it as a PNG. Everything happens in your browser.
This is the exact image you download. Nothing is uploaded to us.
Leave a count blank to hide it.
What a Facebook post mockup is for
Most people searching for a fake Facebook post are planning something of their own. A social media manager wants a client to approve a post before it goes live. A course creator needs a clean example for a slide. A small business wants to see whether an announcement reads well with the photo they picked. A mockup answers all of those without anything being published, and it does it in the frame the post will actually appear in.
You fill in the name, the time, the text and the counts, add a profile picture and an optional image, choose light or dark mode, and download a PNG. That file lives on your device. There is no Facebook login anywhere in the process.
What this will not do, and why
The name field accepts anything, because a tool that only allowed your own name would be no use for a pitch deck or a tutorial. It is still worth being direct: passing one of these off as a genuine post by a real person, public figure or business is impersonation. Depending on what the text says, it can also be defamation, and if someone loses money because of it, fraud.
We built this for drafting your own content and that is the only use we will help with. It is also why there is no Facebook logo, why the reaction icons are simple shapes drawn by the tool rather than copies of Facebook’s artwork, and why the badge is a plain blue tick. It reads as a post layout, which is exactly what it is.
Everything stays in your browser
The profile picture and the post image are read by your own browser and drawn on a canvas on your device. Nothing is uploaded and nothing is stored. For a tool like this that matters: people often mock up posts with unreleased product photos or campaign material, and a version that sends those files to a server has taken custody of them. This one never sees them.
Details that make the mockup honest
A few behaviours are there because a mockup is only useful if it shows the post the way people will see it. Long text wraps to the full width rather than being cut off, so you can see exactly where your lines break. A short text-only status is drawn larger, the way a feed shows it. Images keep their own shape between a tall portrait and a wide landscape, and are cropped from the centre beyond that rather than stretched. Leave a count empty and it disappears, so a brand new post can look like one.
